    President and Chief Investment Officer

    Robert Paul BoggsPaul started R.P. Boggs & Co. in 2000 with a vision of creating a professional office to serve the client with conflict-free advice. As a “fee only” firm, we earn no income from any products so you can rely on the fact that our recommendations are in your best interests. We call ourselves teammates because we all have different specialties that when viewed as a whole are impressive.

    Paul is also active in his community. He is involved with South Carolina School for the Blind (Finance Committee), River Hills/Lake Wylie Lions Club Charities, Inc. (President – 2005 and Lion of the Year), York County Leadership, and serves on the board of River Hills Lions Community Foundation.

  • Deb Dagilus

    Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Operations

    Deb DagilusDeb is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm as well as ensuring that we are compliant with all federal and state regulations. With over 33 years of broad based finance and accounting experience Deb also prepares the quarterly client reports, personal income tax projections and some client tax returns.

    Deb is active in the community serving in the River Hills/Lake Wylie Lions Club (Lion of the Year recipient), and the Lake Wylie Woman’s Club.

    “I love the interaction with our clients and giving them personal service they deserve. Nothing pleases me more than to give a prompt response to a request and have it make a client’s day.”

  • Derek Martin Lewis

    Director of Planning

    Derek Martin LewisOriginally from Lake Wylie, Derek joined us in 2012 after a career in public accounting in Charlotte and financial planning in Charleston. Derek enjoys golf, tennis, and watching college sports. He is also active in charity organizations, currently serving as Membership Chair for the River Hills/Lake Wylie Lions Club (Lion of the Year Recipient) and Treasurer for the Lake Wylie/Clover MayDay Project.

    Derek is in charge of day-to-day financial planning and prepares detailed comprehensive financial plans for clients. He also runs tax projections and implements tax strategies to help save client’s money.

    “I really enjoy working with the R.P. Boggs team, helping clients meet all of their retirement goals. It makes me happy to see retirees having a fun eventful retirement, whether they are going on cruises, helping their grandchildren, or giving to their favorite charities.”

  • Sam Swisher

    Relationship Manager

    Sam SwisherSam joined us recently after a successful career in tax law and financial planning in Chicago. Sam moved down to Lake Wylie to enjoy the outdoors that the Carolinas offer (boating, fishing, tennis).

    Sam is a member of the River Hills/Lake Wylie Lions Club, and serves on the Finance Committee of the River Hills Community Association.

    Sam enjoys the problem solving nature of financial planning. He has brought a unique set of skills together with his law, accounting and financial planning background to bring creative solutions to client situations.

    “The most rewarding moments are when a client is concerned about a problem and after talking it through we find a solution that removes the anxiety of the situation. Removing the fear from financial issues will allow the client to accomplish more of what is important to them in life.”
